Attention: nephrology nurse practitioners, or experienced nephrology/dialysis nurses

Recruitment for Nephrology Interviews 

 

A group of faculty and providers at the University of Alabama are working on a study to assess disparities in kidney disease diagnosis and treatment. Specifically, we will ask the participants to discuss the decision-making process in communicating with patients receiving dialysis. Additionally, demographic data and a description of the nephrology practice will be assessed. The interview will be audio recorded. 

 

We are surveying 30 nephrologists, nephrology nurse practitioners, or experienced nephrology/dialysis nurses. We would like to schedule appointments to participate in this interview. We have institutional review board (IRB) approval from the University of Alabama.  

 

The interview will take around 30 minutes. We will send all participants a $25 Visa gift card following the interview in appreciation for their time.
