Revised Bylaws

In 2006 bylaws for the organization were drafted and voted into effect.  At that time the bylaws were closely aligned with the Alabama State Nurses Association (ASNA) as many members of CANPA were also members of the Advanced Practice Council through ASNA.  Today, many members of CANPA remain affiliated with both organizations however, a decision was made to revise the bylaws for CANPA with the ASNA language removed.  Also, it has become increasingly difficult to provide continuing education credits for the membership and that information in the bylaws was revised.  There is a proposed dues increase from $25.00 annually to $50.00 annually.
