Do not miss NPAA 12th Annual Conference Friday September 14th session entitled,
” Certified Registered Nurse Practitioners as Medical Certifiers on the Alabama Death Certificate.”
As a direct result of the passing of NPAA’s sponsored new Signature Authority bill, the NPs of Alabama can now complete death certificates. Attend and learn how to:
- Correctly complete the Cause-of-Death Section of the Death Certificate as mandated by the National Center for Health Statistics, CDC.
- Implement guidelines on completing the certifier's portion of the Alabama Death Certificate b. electronic death certificates
- a. paper death certificates
- Register for the Electronic Death Registration Systems (EVERS).
