Dr. Rapsilber received her diploma in nursing from St. Mary’s Hospital School of Nursing in 1981, BSN at the University of Connecticut in 1991 & 1998 MSN as an adult nurse practitioner. She received her DNP in the nursing leadership track at Quinnipiac University in 2016.

Dr. Rapsilber has been educating colleagues on the nuances of coding and billing for years. She is a sought-after speaker at local, state and national conferences. In our education and training, focus is on mastering clinical aspects of the role, Lynn recognized the need to provide business education as well. She explains the complex process of billing and coding into an easy to understand, user friendly exercise. She is owner of NP Business Consultants, LLC educating NPs about the fiscal responsibility we all have to our practices. She published an article in The Nurse Practitioner Journal, May 2000 “Understanding the Reimbursement Process”.  She also contributed a chapter on Reimbursement for Nurse Practitioner Services in Family Nurse Practitioner Certification Review (2016) and Role Development for the Nurse Practitioner (2013, Second Edition 2017).  She has included health care fraud as a topic presenting at state and local conferences, identifying ways NPs can protect themselves and their practice. Dr. Rapsilber is a Founder of the National Nurse Practitioner Entrepreneur Network (NNPEN) started by NPs to accelerate the number and rate of NPs becoming owners of sustainable businesses with the goal to preserve the benefits of nurse-led care to grow substantially and operate sustainably.
