Our Mission
CACONS is one of six chapters of the Oncology Nursing Society that serves Alabama. The chapter covers the central portion of the state and is housed in the Birmingham area.
CACONS serves to connect you to dedicated nurses who care about patient and public outreach, and provide a professional network as you’re advancing your career.
We partner with many resources and healthcare organizations to
offer continuing education and dinner programs.
We aim to provide education consistent with the expressed need of the membership and programs to assist nurse engagement of evidence-based practice.
