Alethea Hill PhD, ACNP-BC, MS Pharm is a member of Bayer US Medical Affairs on the Cardiorenal Team as a Senior Medical Science Liaison covering the Gulf Coast. She received her Bachelors and Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama, College of Nursing in 1997 and 2001, respectively. She practiced as an Adult Acute and Primary Care Nurse Practitioner for over fourteen years. While maintaining her faculty practice, she taught undergraduate and graduate nursing students as an Associate Professor at the University of South Alabama for over thirteen years. During her tenure as an academician, NP, and nurse researcher, she later earned her PhD in Nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2011 focusing on type 2 diabetes as a cardiovascular risk equivalent and correlated social determinants of health. She also completed the Master’s in Pharmaceutical Health Policy program at the University of Florida in December 2021 which focused on Applied Pharmacoeconomics and Managed Care.
